Born in Los Angeles, California, Victoria Sager lived in France, London, Morocco, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and New York, before choosing the state of New Hampshire as her home.
Her exposure to international culture affects her stance towards creating artwork. Victoria melds Impressionism’s quick brush strokes with Expressionism’s focus on using colors to communicate emotions.
Victoria’s art aims to highlight what she believes should be valued in today’s society: empathy for individuals, nature and the human form. She aims to capture not necessarily what something looks like, but what something feels like. She intends for her paintings to celebrate people, nature, and the human form.
